The following was reported: A suspect Avitrol poisoned Rock Pigeon was found at the x in x on June 9, 2018. It was rolling around on the pavement. It was brought to the Atlantic Veterinary College Wildlife Service where it was seizuring. It received treatment (diazapam intra-muscular twice, fluids and charcoal treatment). It was also treated for cuts on the legs, possibly from rolling around on the pavement. It is slowly recovering, but still requiring gavage feeding.
